Geoff has devoted a substantial part of his 32 years in practice to the petroleum marketing industry and its related businesses. He has assisted petroleum distributors and their customers in (1) reviewing and preparing contracts, leases, and other documents; (2) negotiating and preparing the documents necessary for the purchase and sale of petroleum properties and related assets, from a single site deal to complex transactions involving the purchase and sale of large companies; (3) advising on the antitrust laws and similar regulatory statutes and representing clients in suits brought under the federal or state antitrust statutes and the federal Petroleum Marketing Practices Act; (4) resolving disputes with the Florida Department of Revenue on fuel tax and sales tax issues; and (5) counseling on business strategies.
